1989 - The Start of Heritage Telecoms on the DFR
In 1989, the Railway took delivery of a couple of racks of UAX13 equipment made spare by BT at Kempsford exchange near Gloucester. Mr Andrew Hurley, the Severnside District Manager, agreed to donate the equipment to the Dean Forest Railway. The following photographs were taken on the day of delivery of the equipment by BT.

The above photographs have been supplied by Peter Collins. Thanks.
