SMarT-1 Documentation

The appropriate manual for the SMarT-1 Dialers can be found here: http://paulseward.com/downloads/smart_dialers/Documentation/8350-383-113-BA_Issue_3.pdf
It is a little hard to work your way through, but the following is the info required to program up port 1 as a speed dial, triggered by a single digit (eg for the duty officer mobile)

Reset to factory defaults :

With a DTMF phone connected to an inbound port, and an outbound port connected to an exchange line, power off the dialler, press and hold the " key on the phone, power on the dialler, it will "click" as it disconnects from the exchange line, keep the * held down for 15-20 seconds then release. This should reset the unit completely.

#0* - to enter programming mode :

942 903 - Reload factory defaults
942 904 - Clear all search tables

Set up exchange line 1

100 2 Set exchange line 1 to Loop Start, MF4 (Search documentation for S00)
108 4 Set exchange line 1 "returned dial tone source" to exchange line (Search documentation for S08)

Set up incoming port 1

127 1 Set port 1 default route to be "Route 1" (Search documentation for R27)
110 1 Set port 1 to execute the default route immediately on off-hook
144 9 Return NU if Route 1 fails

## = terminate programming sequence
eg :

615 = Access Control Sequence for Route 1 (Search documentation for 6R5)
00-----00 = The number to dial:
01 = "1"
02 = "2"
.......
09 = "9"
0* = "*"
0 = "#"
## is the terminator for the programming sequence

987 Save and exit programming mode
